This book was a pain to read and caused even more pain to ponder on. Undoubtedly Sophie’s World is a classic. An idiots guide to philosophy, boiled down to the point of being wrong.

It is an insult to intelligent thought and readers of any age. I ditched the book and sodies my sister what happened with the one interesting storyline, to which she told me it was anticlimatic and managed to only bore her whilst trying to prove a philosophical point.

I opened the book and was granted with really shitty and choppy writing. Like modern thrillers with gripping historical twists?
