The only character that seemed believable to me was the mom and Barton, there were a few too many dead spots detail that didn’t have to be therebut toward the end I started to cry, it moved me that much. No eBook available Amazon. I come to find out that it is, if anything, loosely based on John Wayne Gacy, and that it is in no way an accurate depiction of his gruesome crimes. I mean, it could possibly be on of the scariest horror films ever made, considering it’s dealing with a little boy instead of an attractive adult like the Exorcist did,I suppose.

After reading it I found it hard to believe that the sequence of events outlined could possibly be factual, especially based on the statistics surrounding abductions by psychopaths. Sure, we know that Barton manages to kidnap Billy — the book’s summary doesn’t hide this — but we don’t witley how Barton manages it, or what will happen to Billy once the kidnapping takes place.
